Teacher Professional Development Trainings
Education Outside offers a number of professional development trainings designed to help teachers gain the confidence and skills needed to engage their students in the outdoor classroom. Our goal is to ensure that teachers have all of the tools needed to link hands-on outdoor classroom lessons with their indoor curricula in order to maximize student learning. Our suite of trainings includes:
- How to Grow a School Garden Community Training Workshops
- Cooking the Common Core: Bringing Educational Standards to Life in the School Garden
- Ecology of the School Garden
- At Home in San Francisco
- Tap the Sky Rainwater Harvesting
In partnership with other leading training organizations and SFUSD, Education Outside also co-hosts and/or promotes the following trainings:
